A good crowd turned up to watch, in freezing conditions, a Polo Challenge Match between Cryovac and Butcher’s Pet Care. The match, held at Onley Grounds Equestrian Complex was a curtain raiser for the Kilimanjaro Climb Ball, was won 8-4 by Butcher’s Pet Care despite a late rally by Cryovac.

Ian Wright CBE, the chief executive of the Food & Drink Federation (FDF) was the guest speaker at the WCB Court Lunch in January, and encouraged the meat industry to “stand up” to veganism in what was a thought-provoking and insightful speech.
