A Nuffield Scholarship, sponsored by the Worshipful Company of Butchers

Published on: 1 July 2021

Nuffield Farming Scholarships provide an excellent opportunity for enthusiastic people between the ages of 25 and 45 to explore a topic of their choice through study and travel. The topic of their choice can relate to agriculture, land management or the food chain.

The Butchers' Company is offering to sponsor a suitable candidate in the coming year who is currently actively involved in the meat and livestock industries.

Do you know someone, who is a UK resident working in the livestock farming or meat industries, who might be interested in applying?

Some of those who have been sponsored by the Company in the past have found it a life-changing experience.

Many past Nuffield scholars have gone on to take vital leadership roles in the industry.

How has our Livery helped?

The Worshipful Company of Butchers sponsors Nuffield Scholars because the scheme has an excellent record of developing young people for leadership and greater responsibility in their respective companies / organisations or farming situations.
