Fellowship at the heart of our Livery through second successful online event

Fellowship Friday II provided another resounding success for the WCB and for fellowship.
40 Liverymen (and some wives, husbands and partners) 'Zoomed in' for some real Livery company in the 'reception area' of the breakout sessions before joining the Master in the 'Great Hall' in the full gallery view, for his words of welcome.
Robert Bathurst, our guest speaker entertained us splendidly with a whistle stop tour, regaling us with tales of his time "treading the boards" in London’s West End and on TV and cinema screens across the country.
Who indeed could imagine this charming, well spoken, Cambridge educated thespian as the cad who chased poor Lady Edith in Downton Abbey, or as the hapless David Marsden in 13 series of Cold Feet?
There of course lies the art of the actor and long may the industry continue to entertain its audiences despite the difficulty of our times.
Great speaker and a wonderful experience. I would recommend it to any members of the livery who haven't attended so far. Well worth it.
Liveryman Jock Harmer of W.W. Giles Ltd generously donated the meat supplied to the Voices of Hope charity, designated as a central food distribution point for Kingston Borough providing support for the most vulnerable in the community.
The traditional Champagne draw was kindly sponsored by Assistant Tony Stanton and won by Assistant Peter Allen.
The winner of the 200 Club draw, Graham Palfrey took first prize with Anthony Hardingham the runner up.
With the bar having been set so high, the challenge is now to... follow that!
